Richard W. Redniss (Board Member since 2003) is President of Redniss & Mead, Inc., a design and consulting firm specializing in land use, site engineering, surveying and planning & zoning consulting.  In his more than thirty years of practice, Mr. Redniss has worked on countless public, private, and non-profit initiatives to help enliven Downtown Stamford.  These have included historic preservation projects, the Mill River Corridor, movie theaters, pedestrian-oriented retail, affordable housing, and commercial, mixed use and residential developments. Mr. Redniss’ efforts have been recognized with citations and awards from: The Connecticut Chapter of the American Planning Association, State of Connecticut General Assembly, Home Builders Association of Connecticut, New Neighborhoods Inc., Stamford Land Conservation Trust and Stamford’s Downtown Special Services District.
